Hillary is 16 and has been singing in public for about 2 years. She's opened for Billy Ray Cyrus and performed at several 99.5 WYCD events. The song was started by Hillary's father, Channel 7 news anchor Stephen Clark who was inspired by conversations with Hillary. Hillary then joined the writing process to help finish the song.

After doing the Midwest premier of Les Miserables-School Edition 7 years ago to sold out audiences, Walled Lake Western High School announced that they will be performing the show again this fall.
