REDHILL

Who Is REDHILL?
In early 2005, REDHILL exploded onto the country music scene with a unique style they call "Detroit Country" -- flavorful full-bodied country music with a blues-rock edge. Motown and Rock have been the prominent sounds coming out of Detroit for half a century, so it is no small wonder that these influences are heard in the heart and soul of the sound that is REDHILL.

With a captivating lead singer up front, the group is a blend of seasoned music veterans and songwriters who love to perform live. A powerful live show has quickly become REDHILL's trademark, helping the group garner SEVEN Detroit Music Award nominations between 2006 and 2007.

REDHILL‘s debut CD, You Get What You Get, won the 2007 Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Country Album, and REDHILL was the only band nominated in all five 2007 DMA country categories! You Get What You Get - Buy it Now! REDHILL - You Get What You Get

In May, the group released a CD single to help fight cancer, This Train Ain't Thru Runnin Yet, with all proceeds going to Gilda's Club. REDHILL also released their first Christmas single It's Christmas Time In Detroit City which they perform at the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Campus Martius in Downtown Detroit. REDHILL is now working on their sophomore CD, scheduled for release in Spring 2008.

In addition to headlining many shows REDHILL has performed with some of the best musicians in Country Music including Clay Walker, Clint Black, Dwight Yoakam, Terri Clark, Miranda Lambert, Heartland, Keith Andersen, John Anderson, Aaron Tippin, Gary Nichols, Kelly Pickler, Juice Newton, Leroy Parnell, John Corbett, Josh Gracin, Hot Apple Pie, Trent Tomlinson, Eric Church, Carolina Rain, Luke Bryan, The Wreckers, Rodney Adkins, Rhett Atkins, Bucky Covington, Jack Ingram at major Detroit area venues including DTE Music Theatre and Freedom Hill.
