I met my first new friends this weekend walking into Marine City and stopping in to "Lighthouse Books N Brew Coffee House. The owners are Friday, hubby Obie and YORKIE Molly. I stayed for 2 hours and had the best time. I feel the beginning of a life long frienship. If you live near or visit Marine city and the St. Clair River....let me know. once again I have a DJ job and can't go. Every year I miss his show and am totally bummed. This was the only date booked for 2007 and Kenny then announced his Flip Flop date and I was booked. One day I swear I'll see him. You all tell me how I'm missing such a great show..and I know. I want to see him more than anybody right now. You'll have to take lots of pix for me to see. loveya Jyl

to some more of my new friends in Marine City. Before I married Brett he bought a house on the St. Clair River and this place has become my favorite place to go whenever I can. It's only an hour away yet it feels like I'm far away like in Northern Michigan. Special Hellos to Katie Volkman who I met in the Antique Warehouse and Katie drove the school bus there for 25 years and has lots of friends I can't wait to meet. John the owner of the Antique Warehouse loves to travel and we have a lot to talk about and places to dream about vistiting one day. I met Mary and Eric Walleye fishing down the road. They were going to bring us down some but I was leaving to come back home and be with you at 99.5. I just love the people I've met so far and can't wait to meet a lot more of you in and around St. Clair County. BIG thanks to you all for being so nice to us newcomers!! Jyl

Jyl!!! I know I have been missing in action lots of stuff going on and changing. Saturday July 7th Dave and I got married in Chicago, which is where he was temporarily stationed! It was not exactly how i wanted things to go BUT! Big but he graduates from "A" School August 22nd and gets to come home for two weeks at which point that next weekend we hope to have a real ceremony and reception in out backyard! I never knew it was possible to love someone so much, he is my everything. Speaking of which, his song to me is "She's Everything" so when you get a chance to play it please do. Hey Jyl Well now my younger daughter is home and she wants to know if I'm ever going to hang out with the "lady from the radio"!! Thought it was cute and that you might get a kick out of that!! Okay...I'm completely stumped...I heard a song on the radio earlier today, and have been trying to figure out who sings it or what it's called, and it always ends up being a dead end...Hopefully you can help me out here a lil Jyl!
