Bowling for Pancreatic Cancer Research

Come out to Total Sports in Harrison Township on October 17th at 9:00 pm for a bowling fundraiser to support research that will help move toward preventative tests and ultimately a cure for Pancreatic Cancer.
Inspired by our sister, Roberta Sanchez, diagnosed in June 2008 and lost her battle just two months later on August 28, 2008. Through our family struggle with pancreatic cancer, we realized what a terrible disease this is and how little there is known about it in research and in treatment.
Our goal through this bowling event is to raise awareness and also funds to help finance research that will go toward developing a pre-test that would be able to detect the presence of this cancer. This year alone of the 45,000 people that were diagnosed, only 4 or 5 percent survived.
