Justin Moore makes momma proud with 'Hank It' Panties!
JUSTIN MOORE MAKES HIS MOM CRINGE—AGAIN! Fans may recall that last year Justin Moore noted that his video breakthrough, “Back That Thing Up” was causing his mom to cringe at the suggestive nature of the clip.
Now the rising star looks to be giving Mrs. Moore another reason to cover her eyes: ‘Hank It’ panties! “Yes, that’s right, we have a new merch item on the road in honor of the song ‘Hank It’,” notes Justin, whose song “Hank It” (featured on Justin Moore in-stores August 11th), penned in honor of his musical hero Hank Williams Jr. is igniting crowds everywhere. “My mother must be so proud again! The chorus’ lyrics say that sometimes you’ve got to ‘Hank it, drank it, crank it, and…SPANK IT! Every time I sing that line in concert, the women scream a little louder. I don’t know if they're scared, or they like it, but I definitely know my mom isn’t part of the group the likes it!”
We would be remiss in failing to mention that YES JM fans - you can purchase these 'Spank It' shorties online! Just click here to visit the Justin Moore merchandise store!
One song we’re pretty sure Justin's mom is a fan of is Justin’s Top #1 hit “Small Town USA."
Justin Moore’s anxiously-awaited self-titled debut album is in stores now, and the rising star tells us that this album is definitely an accurate reflection of who he is. “With this album, I really got to make my record, which can be a rarity for a new act, and I’m very thankful to everybody at the label for allowing me to do that,” notes Justin, whose single “Small Town USA” is poised to hit the Top 10 next week. “My goal was to make sure people knew what I was about as an artist as well as a person. I liked those guys growing up where you felt like they were just one of you, except they had a really cool job and got to play music. That’s kind of what I’ve tried to be in my career. After we play shows, I just hang out and drink beer with people in the clubs.” Justin, the product of a real ‘small town USA’—Poyen, Arkansas to be precise—goes on to say that the second single from the album, “Small Town USA,” was a special song from the moment it was written. “It was seven years ago. I was just talking about missing home because I had only been here for six or eight months at the time,” r ecalls the singer-songwriter. “I obviously didn’t have anything going on and I was like, ‘Man, I feel like I’m walking on quicksand here. I just miss home and want to go home.’ “Some of the songs you write you go, ‘Eh, maybe it’s all right,’ and later you find out that it’s really cool. That was one of those songs where I remember going, ‘That’s a special song. I think it can be a big song for us at some point.’ That’s the days you leave the writing room pretty happy.”
