Join us for the 3rd Annual 
Miles for Miracles Fun Run/Walk!

Lindsay is a normal, loving, smart 4 year old with one exception; she has Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome. Progeria is a genetic condition that causes her body to age 8 times faster than normal. There are currently 14 children in the United States affected by this condition, about 45 in the world. The average life expectancy is 13 with the usual cause of death being heart disease.

In 2007, The Progeria Research Foundation, with help from Boston Children’s Hospital, launched the first ever clinical drug trial. The hope is that this drug will prove to be a treatment or cure for Progeria. The trial is underway and will take about 1 more year to complete. The estimated cost of the trial is approximately $2 million. With all of your help and support in the past, we have raised about $1.4 million! We look forward to your continued support this year! Hopefully, with your help, we will soon be able to put this behind us!
