Merry Christmas to YOU and YOURS from all of us at 99.5 WYCD!

Hi! It's Jyl Forsyth and like so many of you, this is my favorite time of year. I love celebrating the birth of Lord Jesus and the love that goes with the spirit of the Christmas Season. But, as you can see, I also love celebrating the mistletoe tradition, and try to indulge as much as possible.

This blog is for ONE: hot mistletoe sightings in the area, and TWO: finding out who you want to kiss under the mistletoe this Christmas?

Hmmmmmmm.....as I think back on all the great people I've met this year just buzzing about, I can think of lots of great cheeks to kiss under the mistletoe. But for the serious mistletoe scmooching, it's gotta be Santa Brett. So how about you? Lots of pecks or some serious schmooching?

Mistle toe

what a fun tradition. Does anyone know how many colors it comes in? I'm having my first Christmas party this year with friends and would love to hang it everywhere. How fun huh? All adults, no kids!! Fresh Mistle toe

is our favorite, and smells so "fresh!". It's bright green with clear white like berries. You can buy it at any flower shop or order it online. Last year, my bestfriend and I made our own mistletoe with green and red felt and lots of glitter. Wentto Michaels and got creative. We hung it EVERYWHERE. Starbucks, Kroger, Borders, YOUR STATION's LOBBY!! We never laughed so hard! this is your crazy friends Thelma and Louise

thank God for dirty cars

Finally, after months of driving a filthy car, the sun came out and I pulled into the carwash. The guys and gals working there kept eyeing me and finally asked "lady what's so funny?" I told them they had to go wycd.com and see for themselves. Jyl, within minutes, the pecks you talked about, I bet I hold the record! Every guy came in and even the sweet lady cashier joined in to celebrate! The chore I'd been dreading turned out to be the perfect holly jolly day!! MISTLETOE sighting #1 comes with high recommendations! Maple and Woodward. They promise the mistletoe will be up all season. Blessings to you 99.5 and all of us who listen. Sophie

has buckets full. Unfortuneately, it was in wooden crates and not hanging up so I got no kisses. sniff sniff Love that store though...hopefully they'll read jyls blog and hang up a few pieces for the fun of it!! Everyone loves the festivity of kissing under the mistletoe.
