On Sunday, October 12th, 99.5 WYCD's Jyl Forsyth and her furry friends participated in the "Leash Up for Life Pet Parade" at Stony Creek Metro Park - Baypoint Beach! Proceeds from this fun outing went benefit My Friends Care Cancer Fund.

The Purpose:
To offer the community an opportunity to join in the camaraderie and fun to promote Bone Marrow / Stem Cell Transplant awareness.
The Event:
 The Annual “Leash Up for Life Pet Parade” to benefit My Friends Care Cancer Fund was held October 12, 2008 at Stony Creek Metro Park (Baypoint Beach).
The Cause:
My Friends Care Cancer Fund is a non-profit organization serving hundreds of Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplant patients in Michigan. MFC provides financial support and sponsorship of Bone Marrow Recruitment drives throughout Michigan and has added over fifty thousand donors to the National Registry.
The Benefit to You:
Aside from the opportunity to provide resources to the Bone Marrow Transplant community through My Friends Care, participation also offers a tax deductible contribution to the full extent of the law.
