About Brian Harper:
Same age as Lieutenant Colonel Steve Austin, although we cannot rebuild him like the Six Million Dollar Man. The closest he has ever come to being an astronaut is playing with his Buzz Lightyear doll in the bathtub-
Brian took a small hiatus from radio, because that grueling 5 hours per day, 5 days per week was taking it's toll on him. So he has stepped back in lightly--filling in when he can here on 99.5 WYCD.
Says Brian- "it's good to be back on the air, and great to be part of the team at WYCD."
Brian is also part of The Suicide Prevention Coalition, writing and producing the public service announcements for that group, and those of you who have known him for years know that he raised a half a million dollars for charity over the years, including prevention of child abuse and neglect. Brian was part of a team at RESA, let by Sue Rutkofski to produce a documentary video for Homelessness that was nominated for a Michigan Emmy.
If you have known Brian for years you also probably got stuck with at least one bar tab that he will be glad to pay you back for. . . next time. You know he's paunchy and bald and about 6 years past his prime, he's messy, but he's fun at parties. If you haven't known him for years, you have obviously been living right and lucky you!
Thanks again for tuning into Detroit's Number #1 for Country, 99.5 WYCD. |

What motion pictures should be filmed in Michigan? So, I heard about our Governor signing legislation that would permit some 80 motion pictures to be filmed in Michigan. And it got me to thinking.. what movies would anyone want to film in Michigan. And I came up with this list. Feel free to add your own ideas. . .
