SKIN AND BONES
|
 Skin and Bones is a traditional country duo with an edge. It’s a mix of vintage country from the likes of Merle Haggard, Hank Thompson and Johnny Paycheck, combined with fresh originals written in the tradition of ‘50s and ‘60s country music. Nick Pivot sings lead and plays acoustic guitar, while Vito Marchione sings and plays “drums” on an amplified 1940’s tweed suitcase. Their unique mixture of true country and humor has entertained crowds all over southeast Michigan.
“We play country the way they played country when country was country,” says singer guitarist Nick Pivot. ‘Nuff said.
