J3

J3 – comprised of sisters and best friends: Janel Badder, Jill Secen, and Jenny Sullivan

Their recent CD project, Best of Friends includes the J3 country project Good for Us and Christian project, More Than Meets the Eye! Their sound is a unique classic country/bluegrass intertwined with three vocal harmonies. The three girls alternate lead and harmony vocals, while Jenny kicks up the trio on guitar.

J3 won the Inspirational Music Category of Ed McMahon's Next Big Star Competition (Star Search), performing their original song, "Power to Believe."  They launched their first self-produced album, featuring the self-written lullaby, "Sweet Baby Born." The current Country project incorporates traditional elements of country and bluegrass notes featuring J3's vocal harmonies, enticing melodies, and thought provoking lyrics.

Their music tells a story, encourages and empowers you to feel the simple joys of life. The personalities of these three girls light up any room. They’re the complete package–beautiful, clever, and fun. They really care for, encourage, and love people – it shows in their music and outwardly through their character! Their lyrics and music ignite the spirit, and their crystal-clear vocal harmonies take music into a whole new territory. They are a rare act that comes along a few times in a generation that is destined to shake things up, wake people up, and become the musical trendsetters.  J3 – Country school & Sunday school pals – sisters – high school best friends –bridesmaids – you name it, they’ve been there – together! Through the good and bad –they work through it together, helping through heartbreaks, challenges, letting go,
growing up, moving on, knowing forgiveness and finding comfort in God! The Best of Friends album, gives you a warm touch of life, a collage of memories and moments. It captures the “feeling and spirit of J3.” That is what makes them uniquely J3!
