REDHILL

REDHILL exploded onto the country music scene in early 2005, with a unique style they call "Detroit Country" -- flavorful full-bodied country music with a blues-rock edge. Detroit's Motown and Rock are the prominent influences heard in the country heart and soul of the sound that is REDHILL.  A powerful live show has quickly become REDHILL's trademark, helping the group garner TEN Detroit Music Award nominations between 2006, and 2008. REDHILL‘s debut CD, You Get What You Get, won the 2007 Detroit Music Award for Outstanding Country Album, and REDHILL was the only band nominated in all five 2007 DMA country categories! The group has raised money from their single"This Train Ain't Thru Runnin Yet,"to help fight cancer, with all proceeds going to Gilda's Club. REDHILL also released their first Christmas single  It's Christmas Time In Detroit City which they perform at the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Campus Martius in Downtown Detroit. REDHILL is now working on their sophomore CD, scheduled for release in late spring 2009.
