Holy Cow.....times flies when you’re having fun! I cannot believe that The Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas is coming up so quickly.....Tuesday, May 15th! Chuck and I are still in shock, over our nomination for ACM “Major Market Personalities of the Year” ...........I haven’t even went shopping yet to get a new dress, “just in case”.....I’ll be attending the show once again, no matter what, but with my new “flat tummy”, I definitely need a new dress! And I registered to ride with Montgomery Gentry, Dierks Bentley, and a slew of other country stars in the annual “ACM Charity Motorcycle Ride” on Mother’s Day, May 13th......after having the “tummy-tuck” just a couple weeks ago, I was not sure that Dr. Sayeg would give me the OK to ride.....but he said it would not be a problem, since it would be 4 weeks after my surgery and would not hurt anything to ride! I do not have my own motorcycle, so I think I should rent one the weekend before I leave, and get some riding practice in this year before I go......dang, I’m nervous about the crazy Vegas traffic! This year, Big & Rich decided to host the “1st Annual ACM Charity Poker Tournament” on Monday the 14th, day before the awards show, and being the joiner that I am, I signed up for that too!
Do you think I should punt on the motorcycle ride, or go for it???????
