Traci Kennedy

From the Grand Ole Opry Plaza to the famous Nashville Palace, Traci Kennedy has shown her talents to fans from all over the world and Traci's star is about to shine brighter then ever.

Traci Kennedy is a past Ontario Open Country Singing Contest champion, claiming her crown in Wingham, Ontario in June 2003. She is also the 1999 champion of the Canadian Open Country Singing Contest which has helped launch the careers of many Canadian country music artists such as The Wilkinsons, Gil Grand and Jake Mathews, to name a few.

A confident, talented artist with unlimited potential, Kennedy is about to steal your heart with her soulful ballads and toe-tapping tunes. In January of 2005, Traci headed to Nashville to start recording her much anticipated album.

Traci's producer is singer/songwriter Paul Jefferson, who has several top 10 records to his credit including Aaron Tippin's That's As Close As I'll Get To Loving You which reached number one on both the Radio and Records chart as well as the Billboard chart.

Traci is excited to announce that her brand new debut CD  How Many Hearts  is now ready! Listen for Traci's next single, a version of the poignant Carolyn Dawn Johnson song,"Room With A View", which Traci Kennedy has recorded in fond memory of her father.  It is currently going for radio adds in both Canada and the United States.

Born and raised in the small farming community of Aylmer, Ontario, Traci Kennedy first sang in front of an audience at age 5, during a church service. Now a polished performer, Kennedy has devoted her entire life to her first love: music. Never taking her celebrity status for granted, Kennedy constantly gives back to the community, through her performances and involvement at many charity functions, benefiting a number of local causes, including: Easter Seals Society; M&M Meat Shops BBQ for Chrons‚ & Colitis Foundation of Canada; McDonald‚s McHappy Days; Tim Horton‚s Send A Kid To Camp Day; the Alzheimer‚s Society and the St. Thomas Fire Muster for Muscular Dystrophy.

A Proud Father's Memories on Memorial Day

"As I sit here in my living room, surrounded by memories of times past, I see photographs of happier times. I see Justin’s Senior Picture…taken in my dark blue suit and tie, (The tie that I had to tie and that he complained about.) “It’s not me” he said putting it on.  .  .. Those people that we speak about during ceremonies, parades and speeches, are real people, not distant heroes, Our Heroes. They have real families. They deserve this day. Please honor them for their sacrifices, because at my house… everyday is Memorial Day."  Please feel free to share your thoughts inside, on this, and what Memorial Day means to you.
