Hi, I'm Mike Williams. I host Classic Country Sunday Morning  on 99.5 WYCD.  I've been on the radio for 30 years now and in Detroit since 1986.  I joined 99.5 WYCD in the fall of 1999 and began hosting the Classic Country Sunday Morning show soon after.  I enjoy playing the songs and sharing information about what's going on in country music and what's happening around town.

As Faith Hill says, its time for "Sunshine and Summertime"...

- My wife Jill is now chairperson at several BINGOs around town.  She's busy chasing the kids and grandkids around the pool.  We are blessed to have the home they come back to for fun and get togethers.
- My son Michael is studying Mechanical Engineering at Oakland University.  He is a Junior now, a projectionist at a movie theatre, and busy with friends.
- Ryan, my younger son, graduated from high school and is thinking he'll go to a Community College for a year or so to decide on a course of study.  His interests include Internet web design work, cooking, music - the world is at his fingertips! Ryan is popping popcorn at the same theatre Michael works and following my interests in computers, mp3 players, and the top cell phones!
- Jill's daughter Sabrina and family are very busy. Their daughter Emily just turned five and is loving the pool.  She swims with me all the time.  She is such a little princess!  Derek's 12th birthday party included the whole neighborhood in the pool.  He got a cell phone so he could check in as he hangs with his buddies. They keep Sabrina and John busy.
- Ed, Jill's son, and wife Michelle signed Chloe up to do some modeling.  She is a very cute little one.  Big sister Alexis is 12 and busy with volleyball camp this summer.
- Finally, our dog Jimbob, a rat terrier is quite the swimmer jumping in the pool off the ladder to chase things floating in the water then back up the ladder and out.  He remains ever-vigilant to keep our yard free of squirrels and birds.
