What are your business hours?
We are open for business weekdays, Monday through Friday (except for holidays) from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.   PRIZE PICK UP is MONDAY through FRIDAY 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  You may want to call us before you visit to get complete directions and to make sure that we will be open when you arrive.

We have a Webmaster that is an employee of 99.5 WYCD.  The On Air Personalities do write, and frequently update their own bios on our  AIR STAFF page.

How much time to I have to claim my prizes?
You have 30 days from your contest win to pick up your prizes from 99.5 WYCD.  Of course if you have problems getting here to pick up your prize, just call us at 248-799-0600 and ask for Sara.  She can make arrangements to hold your proze an extra week or give you the information necessary to have the prize sent to you.  We don't normally mail prizes that have been given out on the air, but we will do what we can to help.  Call us.

What is 99.5 WYCD HD2 The Wolf?
It is the NEW sound of country music in Detroit.  We call it Country without boundaries, and no fences!  It’s available now on your computer via the internet or on HD Digital Radio! 

Do I need a special radio to pick up HD broadcasts?
Yes, you will need a special radio equipped to pick up the added clarity of the digital signal as well as the additional stations available on the HD digital spectrum.  You can find out more at the official HD Radio website.

Why is your WYCD stream different from what comes over the radio?
There is actually a very good reason for the difference in the "radio" version and the "computer" versions of WYCD.  We actually pay royalty fees for all the music and commercials that air on WYCD.  While our agreement covers both music and commercials on radio, the royalties that we pay don't cover the commercials that air on the computer.  So we cover up those commercials and run special commercials that we have permission for.

Since we have extra time, we squeeze in some songs that don't get played often on the radio anymore.  It gives us a chance to throw in some old favorites and give our computer listeners another reason to find us on the web.

How come I can’t get any points for Surf Sites?
Surf promotions have limitations for the max number of times you can visit a site for point value - you can still surf the site, but not receive points.

What are “Rewards Points” and what good are they?
Once you gain a point balance, points can be redeemed for WYCD-FM items located in the Point Redemption section of the 99.5 WYCD VIP Listener Club.

How do I refer someone to the VIP Listener Club?
Once you are Logged In you can go to the VIP Listener Club Main Menu Page and Click on Invite a Friend!
After your friend registers, you are eligible to receive 10% of the VIP Listener Club Rewards they accrue in this membership (after their first 30 days)!

How can I opt-out from getting your newsletter?
Simply uncheck the box on the registration form:

What do I need to pick up my prize?
You should bring a valid Drivers License, State ID or school ID.  If you are sending someone else to pick up your prize, make a copy of your ID and send it with them.
