MEET THE JUDGES!

Naomi Judd
First known to the world as half of the famous mother/daughter duet, the Judds, Naomi Judd is an accomplished singer/songwriter, spokesperson, entrepreneur, author and television personality. After selling over 20 million albums, garnering numerous No. 1 singles, winning five GRAMMY® awards and a vast array of other honors, the Judds bid farewell in 1991, but Naomi did not step out of the public spotlight. Since that time, she has remained an important advocate for women's health issues and domestic violence, as well as an active spokesperson for anti-violence programs.

Big Kenny
William Kenneth Alphin
is an American country music singer, known professionally as Big Kenny. He is a member of the American country music duo Big & Rich, which also comprises John Rich. Together, Big & Rich have recorded three studio albums for Warner Bros. Records, and have charted several singles on the Hot Country Songs charts. Before forming Big & Rich, Alphin was the lead singer of a group luvjOi, which recorded two studio albums (Rich cowrote a few songs for these albums and sometimes joined the band as an unannounced "special guest" onstage). Alphin also recorded a solo album in 1999 titled Live a Little, although it was not released until 2005.

Scott Borchetta
A native Californian and accomplished musician, Borchetta's love for music began in early childhood when he developed an appreciation for the art by listening to as many styles of music as possible. That diverse influence afforded him the opportunity of playing a wide variety of instruments in various bands before moving to Nashville in 1981 and devoting himself full time to the industry side of the music business. After quickly climbing the corporate ladder, Borchetta became one of the top radio promotion go-to-guys over the last decade and now he sits at the helm of Big Machine Records and the newly formed Valory Music Co.
