The climb of Moore’s sentimental anthem celebrating small town life makes the rising star one of only three new country artists to enter the Top 10 so far in 2009. In addition, Moore is profiled in Nashville Lifestyle’s“2009 Hot List” issue, on stands now. Nashville’s premiere lifestyle magazine celebrates Moore as one of the “newblood country artists bringing traditional country back to the airwaves” and recounts how its editors first saw the makings of a major star during a 2008 performance. These accolades come on the eve of Moore’s debut album release, celebrated with a “Small Town USA” whistle-stop tour kicking off on Tuesday, from his hometown of Poyen, AR. Moore will travel across small towns over the next couple of weeks, partnering with Wal-Mart for acoustic performances and CD signings, making radio and TV appearances, and performing full band shows in the evenings.
