As a little girl I can remember always wanting to be in radio.  I wanted to be a "KTTS Ranch-hand."  (KTTS is a country radio station in Springfield, Missouri where I'm from. Ranch Hands are the on-air staff.)  Infact, I would walk around the house giving the weather forecast.  You know, just to get in practice for my big debut.  My first radio job was on-air at KADI in Springfield, MO from there I went to television, KYTV or KY3 as it is known in Springfield.  I wanted to see the television side of things in case I wanted to take Dan Rather's job someday, but I kept working in radio at KGBX just incase.  I liked radio better so, I went back to radio fulltime after a few years, I left Missouri to see what else was out in the world.  I moved to Roanoke, Virginia and worked in radio at Magic FM for several years..

Virginia is where I met my husband Mike.   We now live in Michigan which is where most of his family lives, my family is scattered over the whole country.   I got a job doing midday's at W4 Country in Ann Arbor and have worked there for the last three years.  However, working in Ann Arbor was very emotional for me.   I found out I was pregnant and that my mom was dying right about the same time, so, it was bitter-sweet.  I made sure my mom knew I was going to have a baby.  I will never forget what she said to me, she said "there is always room for another."   At that time she had about 13 grandkids.  I was with my mom when she passed away and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to go through.  But a few months later the sadness turned to joy when I had a little baby girl we named Taylor Morgan.  I know my mom would have been pleased, I sure was.  A few months after Taylor was born I found out that  "Oops, I did it again"...I was pregnant with my second baby.   Trent Michael was born a few months later.  Taylor and Trent are twelve months a part and my pride and joy.  They are truely the loves of my life.  Taylor is now 2 years old and Trent is now 1 year old and yes, they keep me hopping..

I just thought I would let you get to know a little about me.  And with all that being said, let me say one last thing.   I am thrilled to be a part of the team here at 99.5 WYCD and I hope to be around for a long time.
