Kevin started on the path he’s currently on in the fall of 1978 when, while attending Michigan State University, he became a student reporter/weather person on East Lansing’s WELM cable station.
Since that humble and humorous start, you would have to see it to believe it and fortunately there are no tapes left, Kevin has been very active in the broadcast and media industry. His main focus has always been with radio…with stints at WITL in Lansing the starting point he had stops in Toledo as afternoon drive host for WWWM then he moved to WOMC in Detroit and WWWW in Detroit as mid-day host and music director.
Kevin has been a freelance voice talent in Detroit for almost 25 years. He’s sold radio advertising, and newspaper advertising along with a stint in real estate…but his first love has always been radio… which is why he’s still doing weekends for Detroit’s Best Country station, 99.5 WYCD.
As Director of Placement for Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts, Kevin has the often-pleasurable task of assisting graduates find their first jobs in the business. Kevin says that nothing quite compares to that feeling he gets when a student calls up and says…. “I got the JOB!!” |

So, I heard about our Governor signing legislation that would permit some 80 motion pictures to be filmed in Michigan. And it got me to thinking.. what movies would anyone want to film in Michigan. And I came up with this list. Feel free to add your own ideas. . .
