George Clooney is back on his feet after a motorcycle accident left him with a fractured rib on Friday. Clooney and his girlfriend, Sarah Larson, were riding his Harley in New Jersey when he was sideswiped by a motorist. Clooney came out of the run-in with a hairline fracture and “road rash” and the more seriously injured Larson broke her foot and had lacerations on her face.
Hilary Duff’s hockey player boyfriend, Mike Comrie, surprised her with a Mercedes-Benz G-class SUV, worth over $100,000, as an early 20th birthday present.
Rosie O’Donnell has backed out of interviews with BOTH Oprah Winfrey and Diane Sawyer to discuss her new book. Good Morning America producers were surprised by her sudden revelation that she’s not doing any interviews at all. O’Donnell said that details in the book are “too raw” to discuss.
The stork has been busy in Tinseltown lately. Salma Hayek and Dancing With the Stars co-host Samantha Harris each gave birth over the last few days. Hayek delivered a girl who was named Valentina Paloma Pinault. It's the first child for 41-year-old Hayek, who is engaged to businessman Francois Henri Pinault. As for Harris, she also gave birth to a girl. Josselyn Sydney Hess is Harris' first child as well. Harris was scheduled to begin working tomorrow night as the new season of Dancing With the Stars gets underway. ABC is expected to announce her replacement on tomorrow night's episode.
Racal Flatts new CD, Still Feels Good, hits store shelves tomorrow and the guys plan to celebrate with two big television appearances in New York City. First though, they’ll be talking to the Dr. Don Show Tuesday morning, then they’ll perform on ABC’s Good Morning America, then head over to CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman later in the evening.
The Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick was not nearly as innocent as her character Marcia Brady was on the 1970’s series, according to recent stories circulating on the internet. Besides kissing her “brother”, Barry Williams, off-camera, McCormick is said to reveal in an upcoming autobiography that there was intimate horseplay between herself and her TV sister, Eve Plumb, who played Jan Brady. McCormick reportedly says in her tell-all, Here’s The Story, that she had a crush on Eve Plumb and took her interest a few steps further.
According to Forbes magazine, Tim McGraw/Faith Hill and Bon Jovi are among the Top 10 highest-earning musicians. While Tim landed at #7 on the magazine’s annual list with a total of $37 million earned between June 2006 and June of this year, Bon Jovi’s $67 million took them to the #4 spot, just a few notches above Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
